Company
Yes, Nutriva Alimentación offers custom manufacturing for B2B clients, including formats, labeling, and composition tailored to the needs of the distributor, restaurant, or supermarket chain.
Nutriva Alimentación distributes its candied vegetables in Spain and several Southern European countries—including France, Italy, and the United Kingdom—primarily to the hospitality sector, distributors, and supermarkets.
Currently, Nutriva Alimentación does not hold food safety certifications such as IFS, BRC, or ISO 22000. Product quality relies on a controlled, artisanal production process, free from added preservatives, colorings, or flavorings.
Product: what they are and how they are made
Confit vegetables are vegetables slow-cooked in oil at a moderate temperature (not deep-fried)—a method that preserves their texture and natural flavor without the need for added preservatives.
No. None of Nutriva Alimentación’s products (candied artichoke, mushroom, zucchini, leek, or garlic) contain added preservatives, colorings, or artificial flavorings.
Differences between formats
Both formats use the same artisanal recipe; the difference lies in preservation and shelf life: the refrigerated version keeps for a few days after opening, whereas the frozen version offers a much longer shelf life and is more practical for large volumes or orders involving long-distance logistics.
Storage and shelf life
Store in the refrigerator in a sealed container, with the oil completely covering the product to prevent contact with air and avoid oxidation or loss of texture.
Between **10 and 15 days**, provided they are kept in a tightly sealed glass container and the oil completely covers the product.
Up to 5 months from the date of manufacture in the original unopened container, under refrigeration.
Allergens and nutritional composition
They do not contain **any of the 14 allergens subject to mandatory declaration in the EU** (gluten, crustaceans, egg, fish, peanuts, soy, milk, tree nuts, celery, mustard, sesame, sulphites, lupin, and molluscs).

The standard delivery time is 2 to 3 working days.
Usage and recipes
It is recommended to remove excess oil by placing them upside down for a few minutes before eating, to use the leftover oil to dress salads or other dishes, and to serve them at room temperature with flaky salt, or after a quick flash on the griddle or in the microwave.
They are commonly used as a starter, in salads, as a side dish, on appetizer platters, or incorporated into restaurant dishes such as pizzas, toasts, or pasta.

Questions about confit artichokes
Remove excess oil: Before eating them, place them upside down on a plate for a few minutes to let the excess oil drain off.
Make the most of the oil: The oil left over from the confit process is excellent for dressing salads or using in other dishes, thanks to its infused flavor.
Add a finishing touch: You can eat them straight at room temperature with a sprinkle of flaky salt, or give them a quick sear on a griddle or a brief blast in the microwave.
They are handcrafted by confiting artichoke hearts in olive oil at medium temperature—using produce from nearby harvests and without added preservatives, colorings, or flavorings.
Questions about garlic confit
Easier to digest: The slow-cooking process eliminates the pungency and heaviness of raw garlic.
Versatility: It pairs perfectly with almost any dish, from steamed vegetables to cuts of meat like sirloin.
Questions about confit zucchini
If you want to extend its shelf life for months, you can vacuum-seal the zucchini using a water bath:
Place the hot confit zucchini into sterilized glass jars.
Completely cover the zucchini with the cooking oil, leaving about 1 cm of headspace at the top.
Seal the jars tightly and place them in a pot for a water bath (boiling water process) for 20–30 minutes.
Let them cool in the water, upside down, until a vacuum seal forms.
Questions about confit mushrooms
Boiling: Ideal for pasta, rice, and vegetables. Use a pot of salted water and wait for it to boil before adding the food.
Sautéing / Stir-frying: Cook over medium-high heat with a little oil in a frying pan, stirring constantly. It is perfect for vegetables and meats cut into strips.
Roasting / Grilling: Cook directly on a grill or in the oven to brown the surface of meats and vegetables.
To store the confit mushrooms, place them in a sterilized glass jar, ensure they are completely covered by their own oil, and keep them in the refrigerator; this way, they will stay in perfect condition for 1 to 3 weeks.
Questions about the candied salad
Confit tomatoes and vegetables: These are the undisputed stars. You can use cherry tomatoes, peppers, or caramelized onions. They are added whole or in pieces atop a bed of lettuce, spinach, or arugula, often accompanied by burrata or goat cheese.
Confit fish: Cod or bonito confit—slow-cooked in olive oil—are excellent sources of protein. Served in flakes over the salad, they pair beautifully with avocado and capers.
Preparing vinaigrettes: The oil left over from the confit process is a culinary treasure. It serves as a base for dressings, mixed with a touch of vinegar, Dijon mustard, or aromatic herbs.
