This method preserves its aromatic essence while softening its potency, making it a versatile ingredient for many recipes.

To make it, the garlic cloves are peeled and submerged in olive oil along with aromatic herbs such as thyme, rosemary, or bay leaf. They are cooked over very low heat for an extended period, without browning, until they are tender and easily spreadable. The result is garlic with a rich flavor, ideal for adding to sauces, spreading on toast, or incorporating into stews.
